Terrence O. Tormey
Terrence has more than 40 years of Sales and Marketing, and Executive experience in the global Biopharmaceutical, Medical Device markets. Prior to joining Xenon-VR, he was CEO at Kibow Biotech, where the company developed a product novel treatment for Chronic Kidney Disease. Prior to Kibow, he was a Member of the Board, and Vice-Chairman of Prevention Pharmaceuticals Inc., where he previously held the position of President/CEO. Terrence graduated from Saint Vincent College with a BS in Biology.
Zeshan A. Khan
A start-up entrepreneur, before founding Xenon-VR, Zeshan was also a founder of Arraytek Solutions and FaceConnect. Zeshan is an engineer by trade, however, his preferred passion and focus are on creating and implementing organization vision and direction. He graduated with a BS/MS in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Prior to founding Xenon-VR, Steve was a researcher at the institution level for prestigious universities like Princeton, Stanford University and NJIT. He also worked in the field as an Electrical Engineer with companies such as Space Exploration Technologies Corp, Emerson Electric Co, & Control Automation Robotics Laboratory. Steve earned both his Bachelor’s in Optical Sciences and his Masters in Engineering from NJIT.
Michelle DeFossett is CFO and Treasurer. Michelle was previously a senior finance professional for the following nonprofits: the Center for Reproductive Rights, Habitat for Humanity-New York City, and the Maple Street School. She has led long-term fiscal planning and growth for organizations with annual budgets of up to $23 million and oversaw HR and IT needs for entities with up to 110 professionals. She has also managed various aspects of domestic and international real estate transactions.
Prior to her career in the nonprofit sector, Michelle spent over 20 years in financial services. She began her career with a five-year stint at Chase Manhattan Bank, where she held roles of increasing responsibility within the Global Derivatives, Eurocurrency, and Latin American Debt divisions. After business school, Michelle moved into the asset management sector, working at JP Morgan Asset Management, Pareto Partners, and Stanfield Capital Partners. In her various roles, Michelle led teams that were responsible for new product development/distribution, business development, and process re-engineering initiatives for domestic and international products and markets.
Michelle earned a B.A. in Economics from Vassar College and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, where she was awarded the Robert F. Toigo Fellowship. Michelle is a native New Yorker and resides in Brooklyn with her husband and two children.
Dr. Robert Gilligan
Dr. Gilligan has been in the Optical industry for forty-three years. His practice was voted ” Best of the Best of Frederick” and he was a district manager at For Eyes Optical where he was responsible for training and developing new districts. Bob has published content and trained Optometrists in the area of new techniques for specialty contact lenses. He graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1992.
